I am able to Offer a One Time, No Charge Use of Equipment and Introductory Information and Tips, For an Hour or Two, For People Interested in Trying out Windsurfing at Chestermere Sunset Beach. Please email with your request. Normally this is available on weekends only but as I do not currently have a day job in Purchasing/Supply Chain, I can be be available weekdays as well. Additional times I can be available at $25/hr or we can discuss group rates.  Equipment only "can" be available for $60/day or we can discuss if you only need certain components.  A formal, ongoing lesson program is not available. Anyone able to do so is welcome to come forward. Lake Newell Sailing Club may be of assistance as well, as they offer a similar service.

Water Levels At Lake Chestermere Sunset Beach The Western Irrigation District controls the level of the water in Chestermere Lake. They try to start increasing the water level near the end of April, beginning of May. The fill is usually completed by mid-May. This all greatly depends on the weather and presence of ice on the lake. WID maintains the operating level at 1025.50 metres to 1025.60 metres until after the Thanksgiving long weekend at which time it is dropped to the winter level.
